Dance found me before I understood what it could give me. What started as a curiosity turned into a way of life. Salsa isn't just something I do, it's how I connect with people, how I express what words sometimes can't, and how I build community wherever I go.
I'm Talal, a dancer, teacher, and community builder based in Brussels. I run The Backyard Brussels and Talal Salsa Academy, where I get to share my love for salsa with dancers of all levels. For me, dance is freedom, and every class, every social, every event is a chance to pass that feeling on.
