Dance is my language, my identity, and my way of connecting with myself and others. It is more than movement it is emotion, spirituality, memory, and freedom. Through dance, I connect with my Cuban and Afro-Cuban roots and honor the ancestors who came before me. It allows me to express what words cannot, to heal, to share, and to keep my culture and heritage alive. For me, dance is a spiritual journey a way of feeling, remembering, and being free.
