Where to dance in Amsterdam this week
From Monday beginner nights to Sunday rooftop socials, Amsterdam dances every day of the week if you know where to look.
Amsterdam has one of the busiest Latin scenes in the Netherlands, but it hides in plain sight: studios above shops, socials in cultural cafés, summer parties on the water. If you only check the big festivals you will miss most of it.
A week, roughly
- Early week belongs to classes and small practice socials — perfect for steady progress.
- Midweek brings the bachata and kizomba rooms, often more intimate and musical.
- Weekends are when the big salsa socials fill up, frequently with live bands.
Finding the good ones
The best nights are rarely the loudest online. Ask at your class, follow a couple of local DJs, and watch for one-off parties that pop up around festival weekends.
